Feel It To Fix It is a 3-class brain-based series designed to help dancers bridge the gap between understanding a correction and actually embodying it in movement. Using strategic resistance band wraps as sensory feedback, and other simple neuro-based techniques, you’ll explore how to improve coordination, turnout, balance, and movement efficiency in a way that feels clearer, lighter, and more connected.
This series focuses specifically on arabesque because many of the components that create a strong, effortless arabesque are foundational to ballet technique as a whole. As you improve your arabesque, you’ll also begin to refine key elements of dance technique including turnout, balance and control, use of plié, hip and spinal extension, knee alignment, and coordinated port de bras.
Inside the series, you’ll learn how to use a resistance band to increase body awareness, identify compensation patterns, improve proprioception, and help your brain access movement options that may have previously felt unavailable. Each class includes before-and-after moments so you can directly feel shifts in your body and technique in real time.
You’ll also explore how visual, vestibular, and proprioceptive systems influence stability, muscle activation, flexibility, and control - helping corrections finally “click” in a more practical and embodied way.
You will need a theraband (6-foot (1.8 m) - 9 ft resistance/ theraband recommended) and a small space to move for this series.
